Located in a grand old bank at the top of Queen Street Mall, Banc Brasserie is the new kid in town, serving up European dishes in modern refinery. But for one night and one night only, they’re teaming up with groovy gin makers Four Pillars to bring you an unforgettable night of delish canapes and a four-course menu matched with Four Pillars cocktails on Wednesday 18 May. Transport yourself to Nonna’s house with a ten-course Italian degustation menu at this charming city venue for an eve of food, fun, and frivolity. A steal at $99, you’ll be rolling after treating your tastebuds to traditional Italian dishes including the usual suspects such as olives, focaccia, calamari, stracciatella, and fresh tomato, as well as heartier dishes like a 12-hour slow roasted lamb shoulder, dual pesto and bolognese gnocchi, and mushroom risotto. If steak is your schtick, then a booking at Walter’s is a must – especially when they put on a show this good. Join the Steakhouse’s head chef, Gert Pretorius, for a one-of-a-kind amuse bouche event featuring four-courses plus complementary wines for a truly decadent dining affair. Starting with a light first course, you’ll slowly move onto grilled arrowhead squid, duck breast, and venison, before capping the night with a spiced apple pie.
