An Elegant Wine Bar With More Than 3,000 Drops Arrives At Emporium Hotel

Sometimes (a lot of the time) the only thing that will quench your thirst is a glass of curated vino sipped in surrounds of laidback luxury. And if you’re yet to experience what a difference these little details can make, the Emporium Hotel’s new cellar and wine bar is here to show you the way.
The Reserve Wine Bar and The Reserve Cellar has transformed the ground-floor Lobby Bar into a haven of fine wines, calling on the extensive and esteemed collection of top global and local drops available by the bottle or glass. Featuring over 100 of the world’s best winemakers, these shelves will hold prominent names such as Marchesi Antinori, Armand Rousseau, Château d’Yquem, Château Lafite Rothschild, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, and Comte De Vogue. The Reserve will also boast one of the largest collections of Champagnes from the famous year of 2008, as well as bottles collected over three decades and stored in prime conditions of 14 degrees.
Intended for both connoisseurs and the curious, the innovative Coravin preservation system allows guests to sample up to 50 wines by the glass, while the state-of-the-art Enomatic rotating dispenser lets you discover different producers and even magnums with ease. Ranging from classic vintages to under-the-radar drops, the handpicked selection makes for sips to savour again and again.
Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm will see complimentary tastings from a rotating weekly list at The Reserve Wine Bar, while live jazz will take the stage from 6.30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Those looking to elevate their knowledge can book in for a Sommelier Experience, featuring four personalised wines and small bites plus an additional glass of Champagne, dessert wine, or port for an extra $10 per person. Prefer being double parked with a glass in one hand and a fork in the other? Then indulge in their sumptuous seasonal high tea, available daily from 10.30am to 2.30pm with a curated paired wine alongside each tier.
