Quench your thirst for vino at Newstead’s chic new neighbourhood wine bar and bottleshop from the City Winery team. 

In architecturally designed nooks and neutral hues, Ardo’s embodies the Basque tradition of pinxtos aka small ‘bites’ to accompany your wine. Pouring a rotating menu of not-your-average drops including from a wine tap in an altar of pink stone, the communal space showcases Australian up-and-comers in the minimal intervention wine movement as well as a small hand-selection of European guest stars. 

The bespoke offering is not only complemented by a playful approach from knowledgeable staff, but a range of bar snacks made fresh on the daily by the City Winery kitchen team. A selection of individual cheese and charcuterie boxes will also be on hand to keep the peckish in check.
