With Eagle Farm Racecourse currently closed to spectators, the final day of the TAB Stradbroke Season on Saturday June 13 is being held at yours. Through a range of innovative at-home activities, you’ll experience all the trackside action from your living room instead. And to make it easy, we know all the ways you can race ahead!
First out the gates is addressing your attire for the day. While your living room is usually reserved for the onesie that can never see the light of day, BRC is giving you plenty of reasons to step up. Fashions on the Field is still at play with judges wandering on the ‘gram rather than the grass. All you have to do it post your ‘fit on Instagram with #FashionAtYourPlace. Plus staying social is no biggie, because since we’re allowed to welcome up to 20 guests in our home, you can gather the crew and gang (and show off your shenanigans with #RaceAtYourPlace).
While you may have to BYO champagne and put the toothpicks in your own appetisers, that just means more for you! Your room will bloom with the help of BRC’s floral partner, Bouquet Boutique, who have crafted a range of arrangements in the theme of the day: feminine pinks. Snacks will be served on a garden picnic with BRC Executive Chef’s Fig, Blue Cheese & Prosciutto Tart recipe and make sure you have your TV on Channel 7 to see it all unfold.
