MECCA’s Largest Queensland Store Is Opening On The Gold Coast This Friday

The moment we’ve been waiting for is almost here: MECCA is opening its largest Queensland store at Pacific Fair. With 895 square metres to explore, more than 40 new brands and Queensland’s first MECCA Apothecary, this is one beauty opening worth making the trip for.

The new store brings the former MECCA COSMETICA and MECCA MAXIMA concepts together under one roof. You’ll find it in Pacific Fair’s outdoor Resort precinct, where salmon-coloured render, breezeblocks, planters and shade awnings give the space a distinctly coastal welcome.

So, what’s inside? The expanded line-up covers makeup, skincare, hair, fragrance and wellness, with Le Labo, Flamingo Estate, The Nue Co, Hairstory, BIBBI, Ormaie and Polite Society among the brands arriving at MECCA Pacific Fair. There’s also the new Apothecary: MECCA’s wellness concept making its Queensland debut.

For anyone who likes to try everything before committing, there’s a Carousel Playbar and Hair Play Bar, plus 10 makeup artist chairs and two semi-private skin rooms. Opening weekend services include a Charlotte Tilbury express makeup application, a luxury application featuring Augustinus Bader and Westman Atelier, and a Kate Somerville express facial. Complimentary skin consultations and introductions to fragrance are on the booking list, too.

The doors open at 9am on Friday 25 September, with a ribbon cutting and live DJ to mark the occasion. Paddock Bakery, MECCA’s new neighbour, will be serving pastries and fresh-pressed juice to the first 200 customers. Early customers can also get their hands on one of 250 full-sized Gift With Love gifts, available with purchase. We highly recommend leaving some room in your beauty bag.
