But, hey, why not let them speak for themselves? We took the long trek down the stairs to chat to the team, who each revealed their favourite trends and best hair hacks.

Why did you become a hairdresser?
The reason I started hairdressing is the same reason I am still hairdressing after 16 years – to empower women to look and feel amazing both inside and out.
What’s your favourite current trend?
Embracing natural curl and natural texture.
Go-to hairstyle?
I love a bob. From a classic, classy bob to a shattered, shaggy bob and everything in between. Bobs are extremely versatile and always on trend.
Who’s your hair inspiration?
My clients are my inspiration! Everyone who sits in my chair has different needs and ideas so there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I draw inspiration from my client’s natural hair texture, face shapes and lifestyles to create beautiful, unique and authentic colours and haircuts.
What’s the hair product or tool you can’t live without?
I can’t live without the Alterna Bond Repair Live-In Treatment Mousse – it helps to hydrate and hold the natural form of curls without that crunchy, sticky feeling.
What’s your best hair hack?
This one is for my curly hair gals who suffer from frizz and the humidity: shampoo twice with Alterna Moisture shampoo, jump out of the shower and towel dry well. Use a wide tooth comb to comb a teaspoon of the Alterna Moisture Masque through your hair. Scrunch the Moisture Masque into the curls and let it dry naturally. Once it’s dry, the end result will be a hydrated and frizz free defined curl.

Who’s your hair inspiration?
Hayley Williams as her hair is always bright and fun.
What’s the hair product or tool you can’t live without?
Kevin Murphy Shimmer Shine. It is so diverse. It can be used wet and dry and makes the hair feel and look amazing.
What’s your best hair hack?
To help control flyaway hairs, spray hairspray into the palm of your hand and softly rub it over the fly always. It will help control them without being heavy or crunchy.

Balayage, perms and ladies’ short hair quiffs.

One length bob.
Who’s your hair inspiration?
Charlize Theron! She’s a beauty with short hair.
What’s the hair product or tool you can’t live without?
Kevin Murphy Anti-Gravity lotion and spray. It’s an oil free volumizer and anti-humidity.
What’s your best hair hack?
When you’re getting ready, put product in towel-dried hair, twist and let dry while you’re doing your makeup. It will give you great movement around your head.
