Calling all adventure seekers and cocktail connoisseurs! If cruising scenic coastlines in groovy vintage wheels with a cheeky G & T in hand sounds like your ideal vaycay, then grab a glass and fasten your seatbelts! We have something to cheers to.

The Botanist Gin and caravan rental platform Camplify have joined forces to launch Queensland’s first ever dedicated gin caravan, giving guests the ultimate boozy joyride and overnight getaway experience! A dreamy vintage van filled to the brim with gin? We’ll drink to that! Here’s how it works:

From now until the end of June, travellers who book a long weekend away (Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday) in The Botanist’s vintage caravan will be treated to a complimentary gin cocktail making kit! The retro abode will be decked out with a lip-smacking bottle of The Botanist Gin, refreshing tonic water, preserved ingredients, and delicious recipes so you can shake up your very own ‘gram-worthy gin cocktails by the beach.

The ever-so-charming Botanist Van (endearingly nicknamed ‘Salty’) is a vintage viscount caravan, restored with a 70s-inspired coastal aesthetic and Instagrammable décor that is made for beach bums and bohemian babes!  The cute and cosy vehicle is pet-friendly and sleeps up to four, so you can hit the road with your closest gal pals, spend some quality time with the fam, or enjoy a romantic weekender with your boo in style!

With international travel off the cards for now, there has never been a better time to soak up Queensland’s natural beauty and explore the local hidden gems within our very own backyard. If you’re a roadtrippin’ rookie, the Botanist Van can be towed and set up for travellers headed to any destination within a 50km radius of Tugun, Gold Coast. Need some inspo? From $100 per day, you can book your boozy beachside holiday in Salty the caravan here. For more information on The Botanist Gin, check out their website here.
