Shadow Wine Bar, Northbridge
Sleek and sexy, Shadow Wine Bar has crazy good bar snacks and a stellar wine list with a mix of local, national and international wines. Enjoy longer shadows by retreating to neighbouring Alex Hotel for a nightcap.

Lucky Chan’s Laundry & Noodle Bar, Northbridge
Enter via the front Chinese laundry into Perth’s first partially crowd-funded cocktail and noodle bar. The small eating house has an uber inviting bar stocked with sake and spirits and street eats menu of dumplings, bao and ramen. The multi-level temple has rooftop tables too and the food is beyond delicious, just go!
Ezra Pound, Northbridge
This laneway drinking den has recently changed hands, so yet to see whether there will be a change to their current focus on organic and biodynamic wine. Blink and you’ll miss it down Williams Lane, it’s a relaxed spot for a sneaky tipple.
The Standard, Northbridge
Set in a lofty industrial space with only see-through shelving separating the bar and kitchen, the enticing aromas of delicious dishes wafting through the bar will have you grabbing for a menu as soon as you walk through the door. The relaxed wine garden out back is perfect for balmy Perth nights. This Northbridge bar sets a new standard in contemporary bar food in Perth (see what we did there).
W XYZ Bar, Rivervale
More than just a lobby lounge, this sleek bar features local live music every Friday night from 5-8pm and serves up some of the best cocktails in town.

The Bird, Northbridge
This hipster hangout and live music venue is the perfect place to catch a cool live band or DJ session. With entry fees just $5-$10, it feels good to support local music.
Lot 20
Located in the heart of Perth’s cultural precinct, stop by Lot 20 for quick bar bites and a drink on the deck or linger longer for something more substantial from their menu, which has a subtle French influence.
