Sun’s Out! A Fun-Filled Festival Is Hitting The Gold Coast All Summer Long

As the eternal summer paradise, the Gold Coast certainly knows how to spend glorious days under the sun and this year, we’re in for a season that’s better than ever! Why? Because The Star Gold Coast is playing host to The Funner Summer – a festival of fun-filled food, drinks, and entertainment all summer long.
So, what’s on the agenda this summer? Hit refresh at The Star’s newest gem, Isoletto Pool Club, as it opens up to the public for the first time every evening from 5pm til late. With an exclusive Hendricks Gin pop-up bar, Sundowners at Isoletto Pool Club is an invitation to relax with a limited-edition fruity cocktail in hand, and delicious snacks like arancini and burrata.
Or, do you fancy dinner and a show? The Star Gold Coast’s iconic entertainment stage – Atrium Bar – will be putting on Seven Nights Of Delight so you can enjoy live and free entertainment, from Throwback Mondays to Rockaoke, and Comedy Club Wednesdays.
Make the most of being out of the office by heading to Italian eatery Cucina Vivo from 4pm Wednesday to Sunday to say ‘cin cin’ over drinks and appetisers – the traditional way. Boasting Cafe del Mar vibes, you’ll find delicious antipasto boards, wood-fired pizzas, and spritzes waiting for you to be enjoyed in the balmy summer haze.
The Star will also be taking Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays to the next level, with Tacos On The Lawn at Garden Kitchen & Bar to the tune of acoustic-style live acts. The South American-inspired menu includes $12 margaritas, fresh tacos, and $5 veggie taquitos. Arriba!
