It’s official: spring has kicked into gear in Brisbane, and Customs House is welcoming the warmer months with an iconic spring/summer activation and launch event.
Customs House’s iconic domes are getting a spring revival with a riverside Rosé Garden in partnership with AIX Rosé, where high tea is the headliner, and the wine doesn’t stop flowing. And to give the activation the grand opening it so deserves, they are also throwing an exclusive launch event that’ll really make you say rosé all day.

Long lunch into the spring season
Before the official activation begins, on Saturday 3 October, Customs House will mark the arrival of the AIX Rosé Garden to the iconic Riverside Terrace with an all-inclusive launch lunch. Complete with a two-course lunch and two hours of free-flowing AIX Rosé, this one-day-only event is the perfect welcome to a new season of dining under the domes.
Giving guests a chance to experience the Rosé Garden before it opens to the public, this long-table lunch will be the ultimate spring wonderland on the river. From 12pm, you can enjoy a sophisticated lunch at Patina and unlimited pours straight from a spectacular 15L bottle of AIX Rosé, before settling in for live music in the Rosé Garden as the afternoon unwinds before you.
Adding another reason to secure a ticket, the AIX Global Business Development & Trade Activation Director, Jaap Sonnemans, will also fly to Brisbane to join the festivities in person, sharing the story of AIX Rosé in person at the riverside celebration. The AIX Rosé Garden
Set to take over the iconic riverside venue between 4 October and 20 December, the new AIX Rosé Garden will transform the terrace into a lush, whimsical garden overlooking the Brisbane River.
