Shuck This Out! BNE’s Bug And Oyster Trail Is Hitting Our Shores
Wipe out!
If there’s a better way to end a week than by sipping wine, listening to live music, and tasting the region’s best seafood, all while enjoying the backdrop of the spectacular Brisbane River, then by gum, I’d like to hear it!
After the immense success of its previous two editions, Sea to the City – our beloved city’s bug and oyster trail – is back as part of the whopper Dine BNE program, for another round of slurping-good fun.
The one-day event will once again take over Brissy’s Eagle Street Pier precinct on Sunday 30 May, with an all dining experience involving some of our best riverside restaurants. Expect an afternoon of alfresco feasting with pop-up stalls from 15 of the local eateries including Madame Wu, Mr & Mrs G, Coppa Spuntino, Rico Bar + Dining, Fatcow Steak and Lobster, and Customs House. Shucking hell!
Oysters and bug will be on the menu (obvi), but expect a plethora of other gourmet food and wine stalls to be plating up their freshest catch, plus live music and other sensational entertainment.
Not into seafood? Don’t get crabby about it! There will be crustacean-free menu items available, meaning plenty of options for non-seafoodies, so there’s no excuse to miss out!
End the week the right way by treating yourself to this whale of a time. Admission is free (just confirm your attendance here), and get set to spend Sunday filling up on as much wine and seafood as your belly (and wallet) can handle!
