BYO Wicker Basket, A Crop Of Country Flavours Is Coming To Town

Boot scootin’ fun

Truth: food tastes better when you know where it came from, and us Brisso folks are lucky enough to live near some of South-East Queensland’s freshest produce around.

In fact, a lot of your fave restaurants across our brimming city get their ingredients from the Scenic Rim, and with the Farm Gate to City Door Scenic Rim markets happening just in time for Mother’s Day on 6 May, you too can whip up a five-star meal in the kitchen with local produce from the farmers who put their heart and soul into growing it.

There amongst the R.Ms, embossed belt buckles, and dusty Akubras, producers from the Scenic Rim region are bringing the best of country livin’ out of the paddocks and into the big smoke with their seasonal veggies, dairy products, craft beers, boutique wines, and distilled spirits at the Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct. From 4 Real Milk, Bee All Natural, and Canungra Creek Finger Limes, to Witches Falls Winery, Cauldron Distillery, and more, shop, taste, and savour the flavours of the country from 8am to 12pm, before heading home with a boot full of farm fresh goods.

After all, what are Saturdays for if not wholesome market rituals?

To view all the details of the Farm Gate to City Door markets head here.

What: Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct’s Farm Gate to City Door markets
