Brisbane City Markets Are Back
Grocery list at the ready
Hump Days are back to being a whole lotta fresh – Brisbane City Markets are making their triumphant return!
Grab your reusable bags and slap on your sunniest summer hat from Wednesday February 3, when Reddacliff Place (266 George St) will turn into an agora of South East Queensland’s freshest produce straight from the farm every Wednesday, 8am to 6pm. Long-time favourites will be returning to their posts to offer the sausages, churros, and gnocchi goodness you adore, while fresh faces will be quick to join their ranks with Michelin-grade cookies and crispy pork Banh Mi.
Besides all the usual pantry stuffers, you’ll also find decadent doughnuts, artisan provisions, fresh cut flowers, trawler-direct seafood, handcrafted homewares, and a helluva lot more. Go with the intention of getting your meal prep ingredients and leave with an unexpected new addition – the magic of the markets never fail to come through!
P.S. For those who’ve shed a tear on the corner of Ann and Wharf Street, you’ll be pleased to know the Cathedral Square Markets will reopen in March.
