Look Up! A One-Of-A-Kind Vertical Village Is Coming To Lutwyche
Talk about a revamp!
Major PSA! The Olympics are no longer the only incredible thing coming to Brissy!
Can I get a drum roll, please?
The ground-breaking Lamington Markets in Lutwyche has just scored the tick of approval from the Brisbane Council and now officially from us! Spoiler: it’s bloody breathtaking.
This one-of-a-kind vertical village is set to become the city’s most desirable food, drink, and lifestyle destination. Boasting indoor-market halls, plus specialty supermarkets and boutique retail, it’s soaring with opportunities. A craft brewery will line the lower level of the precinct, while an urban farm will sit on the rooftop alongside a premium restaurant, with views from Moreton Island to the CBD.
Wall-lined greenery will beat the Brisbane heat, and a nine-metre-deep cinema complex with exposed rock that takes notes from Tassie’s MONA museum will take your breath away. You truly won’t want to leave, so good thing the Lamington Markets will also be fit with over 134 residential apartments that bring the outside in.
We’re looking at you, Gasworks obsessed foodies and religious James Street goers – this stunning urban precinct is guaranteed to be an absolute game changer!
The breathable space is led by Director James Rennell, who is also behind Craft’d Grounds, another epic dining precinct coming to Albion. “The vision behind the Lamington Markets has been about creating a permanent paddock-to-plate experience, connecting us directly with over 100 different market owners, artisans, and farmers, right on our doorstep,” he says.
So, basically, we’re all about to add a bunch of new restaurants to our notes app. Can it come any sooner?
This magnificent market is set to start construction at the end of this year, so mark it in your diaries and get ready for what is going to be the most luxe scene for foodie and lifestyle addicts.
