The Winter Racing Carnival is almost here, with this year set to be more exhilarating and heart racing than ever before. This year’s Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival presented by TAB will commence at Brisbane Racing Club from 11 May, held across both Doomben and Eagle Farm racecourses, with exciting events to be held both on and off the track.
Even though we’re about to embark upon the cooler seasons, the weather in Brisbane is set to get even more beautiful, so the Winter Racing Carnival is the perfect time to make the most of our glorious Brisbane winter. This year will see five thrilling race days filled with fast paced horse racing, impeccable fashion, delicious food, and the very best live entertainment. As the leading metropolitan race club in Queensland, there’s no place quite like Brisbane Racing Club to experience the magic that is the Winter Racing Carnival. This year also brings an exciting new offering called Trackside Marina, where you can experience the races from the most luxurious French Riviera-inspired precinct, featuring a giant yacht anchored on the lawn!
Brisbane Racing Club’s 2019 ambassador, Sammie O’Brien, elegantly showcases the different trends set to be seen at this year’s carnival. From the vibrant and bold colours at TAB Doomben 10,000, to the feminine and floral tones at Treasury Brisbane Ladies’ Oaks Day, there’s a trend for everyone, and guests can even try their luck at Fashions On The Field.

Kick off the carnival with one of the world’s best weight-for-age races, as history is made with the Group 1 TAB Doomben 10,000. Off the track, there’ll be chances to rub shoulders with a number of celebrities, as well as an exclusive performance from Aussie Icon Daryl Braithwaite.
