Join the march and celebrate the multicultural communities that call the Sunshine State home as you gaze up and witness the rainbow serpent and other enchanting lantern designs leading the way.
Igniting the state’s rich cultural diversity, the free parade begins its march to welcome new Queenslanders, refugees, and international students at 6pm and ends at South Bank Parklands. There, a World Music Concert will get the city grooving from 7pm. Featuring a Welcome to Country by Nunukul Yuggera, diverse dance crews, big bands, and more, you literally can’t miss it.
