Ready the tissues Brisbane because you’re about to be in tears. And no, we’re not talking the boohoo type of tears, we’re talking the laughing-until-your-eyes-water type of crying.

Put your hands together folks because our River City is welcoming back the Brisbane Comedy Festival for another year and let’s just say we’ve already cleared our calendars in anticipation.

This April and May, the Brisbane Comedy Festival is back with a stellar lineup of Australia’s funniest faces, as well as some new kids on the block ready to get the punchlines kicking.

The program is chock-a-block with 350 events, featuring 130 comedians across the city’s iconic venues of the Brisbane Powerhouse, The Tivoli, The Princess Theatre and The Fortitude Music Hall.
