A Boujee Champagne Bar & Restaurant Is Opening In Brisbane’s CBD
Say salut!
In the world of food, 2024 is shaping up to be a landmark year, and we’re only halfway through! With more openings this year than we can keep track of, Brisbane’s hospitality scene has been buzzing with innovation and culinary genius. Among the many new restaurants of 2024, several can be attributed to hospitality giant Michael Tassis. His extensive portfolio features recent openings such as Fatcow, Longwang, and the soon-to-come Dark Shepherd, and there’s more where that came from. With one venue already set to open at The Star, another one has just been announced, and we’re excited!
Champagne, caviar, and all things French
Bringing innovative, European offerings, Pompette’s menu has brought France to our doorstep. Offering a modern interpretation of traditional French faves, including escargot and Steak au Poivre, this venue brings all the best elements of the European lifestyle. A celebration of all the best things in life – champagne, caviar and French cuisine – enjoy a long lunch or late-night rendezvous just like the French do.
Led by Head Chef, Jean-Luc Morcellet, who’s been preparing gourmet French food for over 40 years, Pompette is set to redefine French cuisine in Brisbane, bringing his own creative take to Queen’s Wharf.
360° views, private dining, and striking Parisian interiors
Located on The Star’s Terrace, Pompette flaunts spectacular views of the Brisbane River and South Bank Parklands. This prime location is complimented by Pompette’s striking Parisian-inspired interior, complete with a champagne and oyster bar (frankly, we’d expect nothing less!)
Another stunning interior by Clui Design, this inner-city oasis’ leafy alfresco area is fitted with three private dining rooms, setting Pompette apart and making it a real flagship tenancy within The Star.
