Night Feast Returns With An Expanded Program Of Food, Art & After-Dark Antics
art, culture & food, oh my!
By Victoria Lewis | 19th June 2026Brisbane Powerhouse will transform into its signature after-dark playground this winter, welcoming the return of Night Feast. With participation from some of the city’s favourite dining institutions, alongside an expanded cultural program, this month-long festival is one you’ll want to add to your winter social calendar.
Returning to Brisbane Powerhouse from 29 July to 23 August, Night Feast will build on its reputation as one of the city’s most anticipated events with dynamic food stalls, live performances, and large-scale art installations, providing the perfect excuse to brave the cooler weather for some after-dark antics.
Let’s dig into the full program, shall we?
Food offering
Featuring curated, festival-exclusive dishes from more than 20 of Brisbane’s best restaurants, Night Feast sure lives up to the name. New venues joining the lineup include AUNTY, Clarence, Blackbird, Norté, Pilloni, The 203, and Poco Madre Mexicana, alongside returning festival favourites Central, Donna Chang, Gelato Messina, and CÁLIDA Steak & Bar.
Among the newcomers, Pilloni is bringing its Sardinian-inspired cooking to the festival with Agnello al Fuoco, featuring slow-cooked lamb, salsa verde and chilli in an artisan panino, while The 203 is serving its signature Smashburger, stacked with two smashed Angus beef patties, melted cheese, dill pickles, onion, guanciale relish and The 203 secret sauce. AUNTY is also getting in on the action with its Birria-Style Duck Pancake. With so much to snack on, no matter your appetite or taste, you won’t be leaving Night Feast hungry, that’s for sure.
Another exciting culinary addition to the program is the three-hour Better Off Red long lunch, an indulgent one-day-only dining experience in collaboration with Bosco and Blackbird, set to ignite the senses on Sunday 16 August. At $269 per person, the all-inclusive daytime feast will transform the Brisbane Powerhouse riverside lawn into a theatrical celebration of bold flavours and immersive performance, where flame-led dishes and premium cuts take centre stage, all expertly paired with d’Arenberg wines.

Art & culture
Beyond the plate, Night Feast 2026 boasts a stellar line-up of art installations and live performances to round out the program. A hero of this year’s artist program is Sydney-based studio Amigo & Amigo with Ignite, a towering interactive installation where audiences can create a communal ‘bonfire’ through a series of seesaws – a playful celebration of connection, curiosity, and collective energy.

La Scala Listening Lounge
Adding further layers of depth, colour, and movement to the Night Feast experience is the festival’s sonic and performance program. The La Scala Listening Lounge, presented by Hol Sol (QUIVR) and Aidan Beiers (Black Bear Lodge), will be an intimate space grounded in vintage Klipsch speakers and curated vinyl sets designed for relaxed vibes and deep listening.
Then, the vibrant Joy Generator by Nixi Killick brings a kaleidoscope of colour to the festival – a striking sculptural installation exploring joy as a connective force.

Meanwhile, contemporary artist Jonny Niesche will bring Total Vibration, a major new site-specific installation transforming the Stores Studio into an immersive landscape of reflection, light, and atmosphere, complemented by a soundtrack by British electronic musician Mark Pritchard.

Extending beyond the visual arts, VISTA by Stephanie Lake Company will take to the stage – a major new dance work that examines perception, rhythm, and perspective through a dynamic choreographic experience. As well as this, Three Food Memories will blend storytelling and tasting with a special live podcast edition hosted by chef Savva Savas.
