Sip To Spring Under A Cherry Blossom Tree At This Pop-Up Spritz Bar
Cheers to the seasonBy Dinushka Gunasekara | 30th August 2022
Spring isn’t just in the air – it’s behind the bar in Brisbane City!
The stylish CBD retail precinct, Brisbane Quarter, will be pouring fresh cocktails and spinning cool tunes under a giant cherry blossom tree as part of Spring Spritz – a pop-up spritz bar happening on Thursday nights throughout September.
With no need to book, you can follow your nose to BQ’s Podium Level One, which will be transformed into a stunning spring garden decked out with cane lawn furniture, an abundance of floral blooms, and a sweetly romantic floral archway in vibrant pinks, reds, lavender, and white. You’re welcome, Insta.
Two seasonal cocktails devised by W Brisbane’s mixologists will be on offer: Malfy Gin and Tea with your choice of Malfy Gin (Limone, Grapefruit, or Arancia) and TBAR Iced Tea (Apple Oolong, Japanese Cherry, or Hibiscus Flower), and a refreshing Glenlivet Spring Breeze with Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve Whisky, fresh apple juice, ginger candy, and mint.
Plus, it’s not just the drinks that are feeling the spring fever! Brisbane Quarter’s chic restaurants will also be offering special limited-edition spring-themed dishes and cocktails to level up your dinner game.
Head to Persone for the spaghetti with WA lobster, tomatoes, chilli, garlic and lemon, or share the love with a spread of seafood favourites adorning the whole table with Phat Boy’s Kung Tung. Hit refresh with a lemon tea from Oiian Tea or a spring fruit smoothie from O’GaBee & Co. Other Brisbane Quarter favourites getting in on the action include Tenya with a soft shell crab sushi roll, Phoenix for a decadent roast pork belly, and Three Blue Ducks’ smoked beetroot with radicchio and orange. Spring has well and truly sprung!
You can even take your foodie experience to another level and stay well into the night and beyond with a guest room or suite at W Brisbane, starting from $429. Book here.
