Brisbane, your prayers have been answered – the divine musical comedy, Sister Act, is taking the stage at QPAC’s Lyric Theatre in 2025.
From 8 February, the global smash-hit musical will light up Brisbane’s theatre scene, bringing its infectious energy and iconic story to our city.
Based on the beloved 1992 blockbuster film, Sister Act The Musical follows disco diva Deloris as her life takes a surprising turn. After witnessing a murder, she’s placed under protective custody in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! As Deloris helps transform the struggling choir, she inspires her fellow sisters to find their true voices while rediscovering her own.
Featuring a stellar cast, including Australia’s beloved Casey Donovan, Genevieve Lemon, and Rhonda Burchmore, this fabulous production promises soulful harmonies, heartfelt moments, and laugh-out-loud comedy that have made Sister Act a worldwide sensation.
