Feast At Noosa’s New Summer Festival

This isn’t your average beach picnic

To celebrate the vast array of food and drink options and cultural experiences of the area, Noosa is set to host its first Noosa Eat & Drink Summer Celebration this festive season. From Friday 4 – Sunday 6 December, Noosa is getting set to host events spanning from Hastings Street to the hinterland, surrounding villages, beaches, river and beyond. There’s long lunches in the hinterland, cooking classes, sunset prawns and prosecco on a boat, beergustations (a four-course degustation, paired with lagers), beachside picnics, a paella fiesta and more! So, what are you waiting for? Make the most of a weekend escape (or longer!) and book a much-needed getaway at Noosa.

Located just a 1.5 hour drive north of Brisbane, the region is a colourful coastal town on southern Queensland’s Sunshine Coast brimming with a hive of activity for those who love to eat, drink, swim, surf and explore. Known for its expansive beaches and colourful bays, the family-friendly Noosa Shire is home to some of the state’s most picturesque national parks where you’ll find native wildlife, walking tracks and vantage points to observe the sparkling iridescent seas and golden sands of its many beaches that stretch and shimmer for miles.

While Noosa’s nature aspect is nothing short of spectacular, this charming seaside township is backed by some of the state’s most beloved cafes and boutiques. Bustling bars, eateries, retail stores, galleries, breweries and farmers markets are the makeup of the region and are a common thread in what makes it such a favourable choice for locals and interstate holiday goers to visit, stay and play. The crown jewel, Noosa’s Hastings Street, is a blend of understated luxury, where families flock to the calm, clear waters of Main Beach. Sitting right at the edge of Hastings Street, the north-facing beach is accessible by foot, and is the most populated beach along the Sunshine Coast. Having so much diversity existing in the region lends to a multitude of experiences for all those who visit, whether just for the day, weekend or longer!

Mark your calendar for Friday 4–6 December. Book your stay and tickets now at noosaeatdrink.com.au and follow @noosaeatdrink on Instagram for all the latest news on upcoming events.
