Moulin Rouge! The Musical is set to steal the QPAC stage in May 2023, bringing the first Australian produced musical to win the Tony Award for Best Musical right to our door. The adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film remixes the adored story with a mash-up extravaganza combining the iconic hits with additions from Adele, Beyonce, Rihanna and more, that’s already stolen the hearts of Broadway audiences – no biggie.
The multi award-winning production will feature an all-Australian cast, who’ll arrive fresh off the back of Melbourne and Sydney shows. Once you take your seat in Lyric Theatre, you’ll be invited to enter the Moulin Rouge world of visual splendour, captivating music, and a lesson – that the greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
