Put your hands together folks, because our River City is welcoming back the Brisbane Comedy Festival for another year and let’s just say we’ve already cleared our calendars in anticipation.
From 23 April to 25 May, the Brisbane Comedy Festival is back with a stellar lineup of Australia’s funniest faces, as well as some new kids on the block ready to get the punchlines kicking. You can also expect closing, interactive performances, theatre improv, and even wine tasting.
The program is chock-a-block with comedians, and will be held across the city’s iconic venues of the Brisbane Powerhouse, The Tivoli, The Princess Theatre, and The Fortitude Music Hall.
Who will be there?
The Brisbane Comedy Festival is back with a stacked lineup of crowd favourites and rising stars. Aboriginal Comedy Allstars returns with a powerhouse crew, plus catch Janty Blair’s solo debut at 60 – expect big laughs and even bigger heart. Local legends Matt Okine, Ben Hunter, and Anisa Nandaula join a fresh wave of talent including Jordan Barr, Fady Kassab, and Stuart Daulman.
Don’t miss the return of Queerstories and Frocking Hilarious, bringing comedy with a cause, plus late-night chaos at After Hours. With shows already sold out – from Rhys Darby to Broden Kelly and Wankernomics – you’ll want to grab tickets fast.
