Take a stroll down Queen Street Mall to see something blooming in The City. For just three weeks, an immersive, captivating, and unique floral experience of the 3D kind will blossom, and The City wants you to wake up and smell the roses. Step into the experience, snap some social moments, and you have the chance to win a city experience worth $3k. Flowering from 11am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and 11am to 7pm on Fridays, you’ll have plenty of chances to be in Bloom.

Lightscape
When: now until 8 October
An after-dark oasis of botanical brilliance, Lightscape sees the City Botanic Gardens transformed into a technicolour wonderland with larger-than-life flowers, dazzling, dangling foliage, and ethereal fields of light. This self-guided experience will have you following a 2km trail through the city park under glowing canopies and sparkling tunnels in a 90-minute multi-sensory journey unlike anything else. Moët & Chandon Rosé Garden at Customs House

Customs House is back with another seasonal pop-up dedicated to bubbly sips, delicious bites, and soaking in that gorgeous spring air. Sitting pretty on the banks of the Brisbane River, you and yours are invited to the blooming garden bar, filled with flower domes and flutes of Moët & Chandon Rosé. Rearranged: The Art of the Flower

From the lush and perfectly preened City Botanic Gardens in bloom to the new sprouts and pretty posies growing in our own backyard, Brisbane’s floral scene comes alive during spring, and Museum of Brisbane’s upcoming free exhibit, Rearranged: The Art of the Flower tells the stories of our city through floral imagery. In a space reminiscent of a quintessential Queenslander, this budding show invites you to stroll through a collection of paintings, textiles, sculptures, ceramics, and new media which explore the notions of place, memory, history, and home. Illuminating diverse perspectives, journey through the house, out the back, and into the garden to revel in the beauty of Brisbane in bloom.
