Today, a century on from when it opened its doors in 1924, Brisbane Arcade has solidified its place as a quintessential Brisbane landmark, maintaining its allure for shoppers seeking a touch of old-world charm and tradition in their shopping experience.
This year marks 100 years since the Brisbane Arcade opened its doors and celebrations are in order! You’re invited to join the festivities in marking this major milestone.
On Friday 19 April, fans and followers will gather outside the arcade on Queen Street Mall where a cake-cutting ceremony with Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner, giveaways, and entertainment from different eras will take place. Join in on the group photo to cherish a personal keepsake from the special event and share memories from your time in the arcade over the years.
