Sip On A Spritz With High Tea At This Riverside Chandon Garden
Sip back and relax
As the temperatures warm up, it’s only right to cool down with a refreshing sip or two, and where better to be than a riverfront garden oasis?
This spring, Riverbar & Kitchen are bringing just what the doctor ordered with their delightfully lush new pop-up. From 15 October to 31 November, a Chandon Garden will be sitting pretty in the heart of the city, with sweeping views of the Brisbane River and a healthy dose of florals.
Pouring from a bespoke menu of cocktails, each drink will feature Chandon’s brand new creation – the Chandon Garden Spritz, which consists of Chandon brut sparkling wine infused with orange bitters made from orange peel extracts, herbs, and spices. Light and aromatic, it’s spring served in a glass.
Alongside the Chandon Garden Spritz, sip on flavoursome twists, such as the Lively Spritz made with the Garden Spritz, Regal Rogue Lively White, mango, soda, mint, and orange, or the Riverbar 75 – a gin-based spritz with lemon and mint. If you’re all for sharing is caring, the menu also features a jug of A Walk In The Tropics, made with Chandon Garden Spritz, 42 Below passionfruit vodka, peach, passionfruit, soda, mint, and orange.
If you’re feeling extra indulgent or just want to park up in the gorgeous atmosphere, Riverbar & Kitchen will also be hosting a Spruced with Spritz high tea every day from 10am to 3pm. For just $50 per person, you’ll be treated to a luxe spread of delicious canapes, including macarons, churros with chocolate hazelnut sauce, crumbed chicken sliders, cured salmon and cream cheese crostinis, vegan sausage rolls, and more, as well your choice of spritz from the Chandon Garden menu. Ah, what bliss!

Riverbar & Kitchen is the casual cocktail spot with a five-star stunning location on Eagle Street, dishing out an approachable and unpretentious vibe into the wee hours of the night.
Distinctly Queensland, the space boasts a modern, open plan layout with a 20m bar extending the length of the venue from the yacht-like interior to the outdoor courtyard shaded by colourful beach umbrellas. Organic embellishments are injected into the nautical design, such as hanging plants and bleached timber furnishings alongside large looping ropes, coloured glass fishing floats, white weatherboard and striped deckchairs. The coastal references are anything but subtle, however they are innovatively executed, steering well away from tacky and fitting seamlessly with the stylish surroundings.
