Have you heard? Night Feast is back, baby – and bigger than ever. Brisbane’s most deliciously iconic night market returns to Brisbane Powerhouse this October, serving up a smorgasbord of eats from the city’s top chefs, live beats, immersive art, and a seriously electric vibe. The 2025 line-up is stacked with cult favourites like Donna Chang, Southside, Byblos, Wonderbao, Gelato Messina, La Mano, Bugster’s, Hoy Pinoy, and Siam Smashouse, plus a Sapporo Izakaya x Boom Boom Room reunion you won’t want to miss. Newcomers are stirring the pot too, including OTTO Brisbane, OLÈ, Downtown Istanbul, and Layla – and for the first time ever, LUNE is baking their world-famous croissants after dark. Oktoberfest at the Hills | All weekend

Dust off your lederhosen and raise a stein – Oktoberfest is back at The Hills of Rivermakers! For just $35, experience Brisbane’s own Munich-style celebration as The Hills Lawn and Urban Winery Space transform into a lively festival ground from 12 PM to 9 PM this Saturday and Sunday. Feast on authentic German favourites – from warm pretzels to currywurst sausages – the perfect fuel for a day filled with music, dancing, and festivities. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without the beer. Sip your way through an unbeatable lineup of local, German-inspired brews from Revel Brewing Co, Slipstream, and Aether Brewing. Putt your way through the wickedly fun course – if you dare – while sipping drinks and snacking on bites from the Victoria Park Bistro. Perfect for families, friends, or a spooky date night, it’s the ultimate Halloween experience that promises thrills, chills, and plenty of laughs. ST.ALi Italian Film Festival | All Weekend

It’s time to say “ciao bella” to your new spring hobby because the ST. ALi Italian Film Festival is back this September — and honestly, it’s our favourite annual love affair. Presented by Palace, this cinematic escape to Italy is bringing four weeks of bellissimo box office hits and award-winning flicks to screens around Brisbane from 24 September to 22 October. Opening the festival is Paolo Genovese’s smash-hit rom-com Somebody to Love (FolleMente), starring a killer line-up of Italian talent, while the Centrepiece belongs to Oscar-winner Paolo Sorrentino’s highly anticipated La Grazia, fresh from its Venice world premiere.

HOTA Ken Done: No Rules | All Weekend

HOTA is bringing the legendary Ken Done to the Gold Coast with Ken Done: No Rules – a vibrant showcase spanning the 1980s to now. From now til February, more than 90 paintings will be on display at HOTA, Home of the Arts, on the Gold Coast. The collection showcases his iconic depictions of reefs, beaches, and coastlines, as well as rarely seen works from his private collection and exciting collaborations. Expect bold strokes, unapologetic joy, and that instantly recognisable style that has cemented Done as one of Australia’s most loved artists. From beaches to landmarks, his work captures the spirit of Australia like no one else.

The much-loved Rosé High Tea will also be making a return, perfect for spring celebrations and relaxed afternoons.

A Rooftop In Bloom At Emporium South Bank | All Weekend

Step into a floral rooftop escape where spring comes alive and Champagne flows at Emporium South Bank’s A Rooftop In Bloom. From now until 20 October, The Terrace at Emporium Hotel South Bank, in partnership with Perrier-Jouët, transforms into a garden-inspired sanctuary above the city. Lounge among vibrant blooms, sip Champagne by the glass or bottle, and take home a seasonal bouquet. Enjoy spring-inspired cocktails and dishes like prawn sliders or stuffed zucchini flowers, perfectly paired with Champagne.
