With the excitement of the new year a distant memory and the working week as tiresome as ever, getting stuck in a rut can happen to the best of us. Just in time to beat March monotony, Brisbane is spicing things up with a stellar free live music program. The Sound Society is the newest solution to less-than-epic weekends. Celebrating local talent, great tunes and chill vibes, this is the music fix you’ve been searching for.

You’ll find The Sound Society radiating smooth sounds from your favourite riverside hangouts, South Bank Parklands and Roma Street. Perfect for catching up with friends, a romantic afternoon date or even hanging out solo, The Sound Society is held on the first weekend of every month, starting March 3, 2018. Saturday afternoon from 2 – 7pm, you’ll find The Sound Society at South Bank Parklands and come Sunday morning, you can catch different performances at Roma Street Parkland from 9am – midday. Brunch-time entertainment is definitely a concept we can get on board with.

Pack a picnic and bring along your favourite nibbles to share. If picnics aren’t your thing, there’ll also be on-site food vendors ready and waiting to satisfy those stomach grumbles. All that’s left for you to do is sit back and mellow out with your mates.

Check out the program below and clear your schedules, this line up sounds like bliss.
