If you’ve been missing getting sloshy in a sarong at Potato Head, we have news! Your long overdue Bali break isn’t too far away – in fact, it’s coming to Bulimba.
From the legendary crew behind Pawpaw Cafe, Darvella Patisserie, and Monocle Coffee comes a breezy Balinese inspired restaurant and rooftop bar on the river end of Oxford Street. Serving Indonesian and Thai charcoal grilled dishes with a modern Asian twist, MELROSE is bound to be your new go-to for a sunset spritz.

Firing up the kitchen is Head Chef Arté Assavakavinvong from Melbourne’s iconic Longrain Thai restaurant. With tantalising experience in Bangkok restaurants, he’ll be turning fresh Australian produce into unique fare such as grilled banana wrapped coral trout and turmeric curry with green melon, jackfruit, eggplant, and betel leaf.
MELROSE is scheduled to open this May. To get all the news on Brisbane’s very own slice of Bali, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
