La Costa Restaurant Has Arrived

Now that’s amore

By Dinushka Gunasekara | 4th February 2021

So, you’ve met La Costa Bar, Cielo Rooftop, and La Valle wine bar, now it’s our gastronomically great pleasure that we introduce to you the final piece of the puzzle – La Costa Restaurant!

The hungriest of its siblings, La Costa Restaurant is bringing summers in the Italian Riviera to the historic Brunswick Street site. Within exposed brick columns and seafoam-green and white décor, you’ll find a menu that celebrates the ocean first and foremost, as well as a plethora of Italian-inspired local meats, cheeses and vegetables.

Tease your appetite with their arancini of the day and beef carpaccio, before diving into hearty meals like the mussels with white wine, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian sausage and toasted sourdough. Of course, it’s Italian – there’s obvi pizza and pasta! You’re looking at decadent fresh truffle tagliatelle, Moreton Bay bug spaghetti, and eight classic wood-fired pizzas that are so authentic they’ll have you looking for Vespas around every corner. Also, there’s tiramisu bomboloni – hello, yes, take my money now, thank you.

As you’d expect from the team behind Australia’s #1 bar, La Costa Restaurant will offer similar drinks to La Costa Bar with specialty curated cocktails, Champagne, Italian wine varietals, local craft beers, and boutique spirits. The arrival of the restaurant completes the vision of The Valley’s newest multifaceted dining destination as a symbolic ode to the northern Italian coastline. Cielo Rooftop is the sky, La Valle is the valley, and La Costa Restaurant & Bar is the sea, where you’ll find true amore.
