8 Strawberry Sundae-Inspired Dishes To Dig Into The Ekka Spirit

Berry good

By Dinushka Gunasekara | 14th August 2023

The Ekka is back and better than ever! Ask any Queenslander and they’ll tell you that the real highlight of the show isn’t the cute baby animals, show-stopping show bags, or exhilarating rides – it’s the strawberry sundaes, baby!

Of course, fairgoers aren’t the only ones wanting to get their strawberry sundae fix. The Brisbane dining scene is also taking cues and serving up an array of strawberry sundae-inspired dishes to sweeten your day. From waffle stacks to jam-packed croissants (literally), here’s where you can get a berry good taste of the Ekka magic.

By the way, we consider everyone in this list the best of the best! To make finding your next favourite that much easier, we’ve ordered the list alphabetically by suburb and also have filtering tabs for your convenience. Did we miss someone from the list? Let us know here!
