Eagle Street Pier – it’s one of Brisbane’s most iconic waterfront precincts – and it’s about to become even better thanks to the announcement that two new riverfront dining destinations (can we get a ‘hip, hip, hooray!’). Say hello to COPPA and Cha Cha Steak and Lobster!
Taking over the venue spaces of Cha Cha Char and Il Centro (RIP, we had some damn good times), the two new dining venues are set to bring quality flavours to the precinct, just in time for the holiday season.
Cha Cha Char Steak and Lobster – the brainchild behind restaurateurs Michael Tassis and Ciao Rossetto – is set to open its doors in early December. Boasting a beautiful alfresco dining experience, customers can take in the sights of the river while treating their tastebuds to quality cut meats and fresh lobster sourced from Tasmania and Western Australia. Snaps go to this new venue for also doubling as a bar, where over 150 whiskeys and smooth wines can be downed, night or day.
Beside the swanky new site, COPPA will takeover Il Centro’s location, with causal indoor and alfresco dining.
Tom Sanceau, one half The Happy Fat Group, has confirmed the restaurant’s menu will serve seasonal produce, combining the rich traditional flavours of coastal Italian cuisine, with a mix of fresh Aussie ingredients. Oh, molto bene!
