Fancy A Pint? Grab A Parmy At One Of Brisbane’s Best Pubs

Did someone say chicken parmy?

It’s no secret we love a boujee lunch here at Style, but who’s to say we don’t love a good ol’ pub grub just as much?

Our much-loved Brisbane watering holes have certainly raised the stakes when it comes to presentation, while still serving up all the classic dishes and flavours we have grown to love (chicken schnitty, come at me).

In celebration of the ever-evolving pub scene, here’s our round up of the best Brisbane pub feeds you’ll find across our glorious city.

The Boundary | West End

The Boundary has been on the pub scene since 1864, so we trust they know a thing or two about a good pub feed. After undergoing a snazzy refurbishment in 2018, the iconic venue has a new look and menu to match, consisting of the perfect mix of contemporary Australian dishes with a range of pub classics.

Oxford 152 | Bulimba

A fave amongst tourists and locals alike, Oxford 152 is the place to take the family for a filling feed during the week, or to unwind over a pub grub and beer when you clock off on a Friday afternoon. The seasonal menu offers a blend of contemporary Australian cuisine with all your faves when it comes to traditional pub fares.

Pineapple Hotel | Kangaroo Point

The Pineapple Hotel has been serving up top-tier pub meals to hungry Brisbanites for over 150 years. From signature steaks to woodfired pizzas, the Pineapple Hotel has a pub feed to suit everyone’s tastebuds.

Shafston Hotel | East Brisbane

If you find the fridge is empty after a busy weekend, the Shafston Hotel has you covered with their Monday night steak deals. Alternatively, a visit to this East Brisbane pub on hump day is the perfect way to break up the working week while grabbing yourself a cheap and cheery parmy.

Story Bridge Hotel | Kangaroo Point

Since its establishment in 1886, the Story Bridge Hotel continues to impress locals and visitors with its four unique dining experiences. A step up from the traditional pub grub, the Story Bridge Hotel is most known for their extensive list of steaks, but there are plenty of menu options to explore beyond that, too.

Regatta Hotel | Toowong

For a fine dining meets pub feed experience, look no further than Regatta Hotel. Since its humble beginnings as a single-story pub in 1874, Regatta Hotel now has seven totally unique dining destinations to take visitors from pub counter to riverside dining. Take a wander through their River Road Cafe and discover flavours fit for breakfast, lunch, and tea, too.
