Growing up in a small English town close to London, Aimee Russell, founder of Aimee Provence, recalls fond memories from her own childhood that she wants to share with her guests. Hailing from a long line of family bakers, Aimee’s memories are scented with the sweet smell of fresh tea, homemade cakes, jam and scones. “My grandparents lived up the road and I spent so much time with them when we were younger,” she says. “My granddad would make caraway seed cake in the mornings and we would all get into bed with my grandparents and have English breakfast tea and caraway seed cake. The smell of that beautiful cake would go through the whole house.”

Drawing on the culinary and creative entrepreneurial and baking skills of her English parents, Aimee has brought her fondest memories to life. The Experience

Classic décor of blush-coloured wallpaper stencilled with gold leads you through to the regal tea room. With stunning views of the ocean, sink into the luxuriously comfy crushed velvet seats fit for a queen’s tushy. Your table is lit by crystal chandeliers and the warm sunlight that catches the mirrors and ornate leaf trimmings throughout the rose and peach inspired haven. The Treats

Once seated, you will be treated to a carefully selected, expansive menu offering a variety of decadent options including vegan, gluten-free and lactose free morsels, to satisfy your tastebuds and any dietary needs.

Start with loose leaf traditional English tea; green tea with distinctive flavours of fruit and herbs; or rich, barista made coffee that’ll warm you to your toes. Then, spoil yourself with warm, fluffy, pillow-like scones that’ll melt clotted cream and berry preserve in your mouth before you move onto the next selection.
