The sun’s setting earlier, the mornings are getting crisp – and you know what that means? It’s officially blazer season *squeal*.

In Brisbane, a blazer and jeans is no doubt the winter uniform, so it’s essential – nay, non-negotiable – that you’ve got a killer one (or four) on standby.

If your current go-to is looking a little too loved, or you’re just in the mood to mix things up, we totally get it. And honestly? Blazers are the ultimate guilt-free purchase. Why? Because you’ll wear them all. the. time.

What’s in this season?

Oversized is still reigning supreme, serving up that effortlessly cool “I stole my dad’s suit jacket” energy. Blanca is nailing this vibe right now, with silhouettes that blur the line between relaxed and refined. On the flip side, sharp tailoring is having a major moment. Think structured shoulders flowing into cinched waists – it’s giving power dressing and guess who’s at the forefront? Camilla And Marc, of course. We’re also seeing some other fun twists on blazers – from asymmetrical shapes to in-built belts, adding some eclectic flair to a traditional piece.

When it comes to colour, black isn’t going anywhere (obviously), but its softer sibling, chocolate brown, is stepping up as the go-to neutral this season. And don’t sleep on pinstripes – there are plenty of playful takes on the classic pattern popping up everywhere.

And since a blazer is a true wardrobe investment, we’ve done the legwork for you. Scroll for the best blazers of the season.
