F+H Studios Launches First-Ever Leather Collection

By Kiri Johnston | 28th September 2026When Sharona Harris, designer and director of F+H Studios, invited me to The Bonobo by Raes for the launch of her first dedicated leather collection, I was quick to say yes. I’d had a sneak peek earlier this year when I visited the F+H Concept Store, on the edge of Byron’s Arts and Industry Estate. I booked a room at the hotel and planned to make a night of it.
I’ve followed Sharona’s work for years. I interviewed her for Style back in 2019, when the label she founded in 2014 was still known as Femme + Homme. Back then, she told me she drew inspiration from nature, vintage imagery, music and street style. She described her own wardrobe as “tailored, tonal and a little bit tomboy” — a line I still remember and has naturally stayed with the brand since.
My first F+H purchases were a gold seashell necklace and matching earrings, bought during my laidback, bohemian phase. My style has changed considerably since then, and so has the brand. I’ve picked up more pieces at her pop-ups and through the online store and in her boutique: understated but exquisite necklaces, earrings, bracelets and bangles, each with that distinctive F+H signature.
Then a work trip to Adelaide came up, and I had to cancel my Byron plans. I was disappointed to miss the launch, but I was still eager to see the full collection unveiled. The evening at The Bonobo gave me a glimpse of the evening, where Teresa Palmer and Jessica Gomes joined local stylists, photographers, models and creatives to celebrate with Sharona.
The Leather Collection takes the sculptural metal details I’ve long loved in F+H jewellery and gives them a new setting. Crescent Hardware Bags come in black and chocolate brown pony skin, while the Knotted Belts add zebra print to the mix. The range sits alongside F+H’s earlier Italian leather designs and extends to Formation totes, cord belts and the Pierced Leather Scarf.
Sharona is most excited about the belts, and I can see why. They’re designed to be knotted high at the waist or worn lower on the hips, so a single piece can change the proportions of an outfit. I’d wear the Zebra Hardware Knotted Belt over a blazer one day and low with relaxed tailoring the next. The silver hardware gives it the F+H detail I’d recognise anywhere.
The editor’s picks
The Pierced Leather Scarf was the first piece I took note of. It’s so very Kiri-coded: a familiar wardrobe piece with enough hardware to change the whole look. I’d pair it with the Crescent Hardware Bag, though the Zebra Formation Tote is making a strong case for itself.
I’m also drawn to the smaller pieces that can be layered: the Summit Choker, the Dune Choker with Dalmatian Jasper and the Terrain Suede Cord Necklace. The Formation Leather Cord Belt is another one I’d put straight to work with a suit.
I’ve now got my hands on pieces from the collection and packed them for Paris. I can’t wait to style them up, see how they work with my wardrobe here and share the looks with you. Stay tuned.
Sharona also tells me she’s planning a new F+H flagship store in Byron this December. I’ll be there over Christmas and New Year, so a visit is already on my list. Until then, you can explore the collection at the Concept Store or at F+H Studios.
