Fashion lovers, get ready – Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela just dropped the collab of the year, and it’s everything we could have hoped for. Louboutin’s signature red soles meet Margiela’s avant-garde genius, resulting in a collection that’s bold, boundary-pushing, and totally irresistible.

It all started over lunch in late 2023 when John Galliano pitched the idea to his longtime friend Christian Louboutin. According to Louboutin, Galliano was bursting with creativity and precision, setting the stage for a fashion moment we never saw coming (but are so glad it did).

The collection made its jaw-dropping debut at Margiela’s Spring 2024 Artisanal show in Paris, staged beneath the iconic Pont Alexandre III bridge. The show was so breathtaking, it actually brought Louboutin to tears – yes, actual tears. He described it as “poetry and magic,” and honestly, same.

Beyond just a collection, this is a celebration of 40 years of friendship, creativity, and pure fashion brilliance. As Louboutin put it, “I think it’s probably the perfect marriage!” And we couldn’t agree more.
