Spoil Mum This Mother’s Day With A Feast Along The River

Mum’s the word!

By Astrid Taemets | 3rd April 2023

What’s the best day of the calendar year?

No, silly! It’s not your birthday or the day Santa sneaks down the chimney. Forget birthday cake and presents wrapped under the tree, the best of the year is the day you get to spoil the sweetest person on the planet: your mum.

This Mother’s Day, put down the apron – she won’t be needing those charred pancakes after all – since Regatta Hotel is dialling up the charm this Mother’s Day with three superb dining options, saving you the task of attempting to play Nigella Lawson for the day.

Whether she prefers to sit riverside with a cuppa, take in the ambience within the stylish interior of The Boatshed restaurant, or indulge in a long luncheon along the verandah on Level 1, there’s something for every mum to enjoy at Regatta Hotel on 14 May.

Breakfast

You know what they say: ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’, so invite the whole crew down to The Boatshed for an a la carte brekky feast. From banoffee pancakes drizzled with Lindt milk chocolate, banana honey compote, and salted caramel ice cream, to the crab omelette with chilli, egg, and Thai salad, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! At just $45 per person and $15 per child for kids aged between 4-12 years, you can also sip on your choice of tea, coffee, and juice options. Feeling hungry? We don’t blame you! Book your table here.

Level 1 Luncheon

Raise a glass and celebrate Mum with bubbles and a decadent lunch – it’s the only way! Set in the Level 1 dining space of Regatta Hotel, treat her to a three-course lunch featuring citrus cured salmon or ceviche entree, pan seared lamb rack or roast butternut pumpkin salad for main, and your choice of warm sticky toffee pudding or fruit-topped pavola with complimentary drink on arrival from 12pm to 3pm. At only $80 per person, and $25 for those aged between 4 to 12 years, you’ll certainly get your fill. Cheers mum, we love you! Book here.

High Tea

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that every mum loves a cuppa, so treat her to a two-hour high tea experience where tea, coffee, bubbles, and mimosas flow freely. Of course, no high tea is complete without a tiered stand filled with sweet and savoury snacks, and this one will ensure you get your fix of both. From the smoked ham, chicken, and salmon bagels to the croissants, tarts, and quiches, coconute tea cakes, chocolate coated strawberries, and handmade sconces, this is a high tea for the ages. There’ll also be live music and a photo wall for you and Mum to grab a snap at! Book your tickets here.
