Stuck On Mother’s Day Plans? The Regatta Hotel Has Got You Sorted

Put down the apron and head riverside!

As the saying goes, “the way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach” and, my goodness, did the Regatta Hotel deliver on this statement.

Turn off your 6am alarm and put down the apron. Mum won’t be needing those charred pancakes in the morning. The Regatta is dialling up the charm this Mother’s Day with an offering of three beautiful dining options, saving you the task of playing Nigella Lawson for the day.

Whether you and Mum want to sit riverside while tucking into a delicious breakfast, take in the ambience of the stylish and relaxed interior of The Boatshed restaurant, or indulge in a long luncheon inside the elegant, lace iron-lined verandas on Level 1, there is something for every mum to enjoy.

We know that no two mums are the same, which is why Regatta Hotel has set you up for success when it comes to spending this special day together. Find out the deets for each dining option below!

The Boatshed A La Carte Breakfast

Kick off the early hours of Mother’s Day with a breakfast in the Queensland Hotel Association’s (QHA) award-winning restaurant, The Boatshed. Whether your mum is a savoury fiend or has a sweet tooth, the menu here boasts everything from a hearty Boatshed brekky, tasty avocado and fritters, and buttermilk pancakes with Lindt chocolate, grilled banana, and salted caramel ice cream… Sign. Us. UP. Tickets also include coffee and juice and are $40 per adult. If you’ve got the little ones coming too, there is a children’s menu available for $15 per child.

Breakfast Buffet

Set in the stunning Level 1 dining space overlooking the river, this breakfast buffet is brimming with a selection of chilled starters to ease you and Mum into the bountifulness that awaits you. You’ll start off with seasonal fruit platters, homemade granola, artisan cheeses, and smoked salmon. After experiencing food coma numero uno, you’ll tuck into the hot stuff! We’re talking smoked bacon, poached eggs, potato rosti stacks, and hot smoked trout.

Did we mention there’s also a bread and pastry station? Transport Mum straight to Paris with their assorted artisan breads, freshly baked bagels, flaky pastries, danishes, and basically every butter and condiment there is. Adult tickets are priced at $50 and children are $25. Kids under 5 eat free – lucky them!

Mother’s Day Long Lunch

You and Mum not really morning people? Not to worry. This decadent, long luncheon is the perfect option for those who enjoy extending a few hours of their beauty sleep in the morning. Also set in the Level 1 dining space, you’ll receive a Bellini on arrival before sitting down for a share-style lunch, which includes mouth-watering starters, such as chilli and herb prawns, plus capocollo share boards piled with salami, pastrami, dried fruits, soft cheese, and rustic breads.

Don’t tap out yet, there’s more! Dig into the main courses which includes roasted prime rib and house-smoked salmon, accompanied by a range of delish shared sides. Adult tickets are $69 per person and children are $25.
