Launching this Thursday August 13, the world-famous premium whisky label, Monkey Shoulder, is partnering up with the city’s most exciting venues to get you sipping easier than throwing on a pair of pants.
From Brisbane City to Hamilton, the super-sized Monkey Mixer will be hitting the road and making its way across a number of Brissy suburbs to deliver cocktails from trailblazing bars straight to you. Teaming up with a new venue each day, you can get your hands on a $1 cocktail and a free pair of sunnies until Sunday August 16.
The ‘Unlock-down Cocktail Menu’ features familiar favourites, including The Espresso Monkey taking you from work to play, The Boulevardier #3 which is a Negroni with a twist, and the Lazy Old Fashioned – the world’s favourite drink made faster. Shook up by talented bartenders across the city, a tenner is all it takes for your day at home to become a full-blown sesh.
The Monkey Mixer’s first stop will be at Death & Taxes, with deliveries made around Newstead, Bowen Hills, and Fortitude Valley on August 13. The following day will see the Monkey Mixer at Cobbler in West End, delivering premium cocktails for those in the neighbourhood (as well as in surrounding areas like Highgate Hill and South Brisbane), before finishing up at Byblos on August 15, where they’ll also be delivering to Ascot, Hendra, Hamilton, and Albion.
