Come hungry, leave happy!

The best thing about a good market feed are the surprises. Whether it’s the freshest fruit and veggies your fridge ever did see, the best arancini ball you’ve had in your life, or meeting the makers (which makes everything taste more special), expect the delicious and unexpected at Grazed and Grown.

Bringing a pack of Australia’s most revered chefs and local producers to South Bank Parklands, this foodie haven celebrates Australia’s incomparable landscape, makers, and pioneering chefs from 18 – 20 June. As a feature of South Bank’s original premium food event, Regional Flavours, Grazed and Grown is a fresh hub for education and inspiration, with a jam-packed program sure to have you drooling.

Under the cool winter rays and with live music in the air, you’ll discover all things delightfully delectable in The Marketplace – a line-up of producers and artisans within 250km of Brisbane City boasting innovative ingredients, fantastic fare, and handmade goods. If you want to take home more than a snack, head to The Kitchen, where you can get up close and personal with esteemed chefs, including Paul West (as seen on River Cottage Australia), Matt Moran (multi award-winning owner of Aria and Chiswick Sydney), Alastair McLeod (TV personality and Michelin-listed chef), Louis Tikaram (Head Chef of Stanley and La Mexicana at Howard Smith Wharves), Georgia Barnes (as seen on Masterchef Australia), and more.

Four signature events will also take place over the tantalising weekend at the River Quay Green, kicking off with the Opening Party on Friday 18 June. Chuck on your fanciest frock and rub shoulders with Australia’s revered chefs as you wine and dine your way through the evening at South Bank’s coveted riverfront location.  With an exclusive menu of delectable dishes brought to you by renowned South Bank restaurants such as Popolo, The Jetty, Aquitaine Brasserie, and even Stone & Wood, it’s a bite-sized sample of what to expect for the rest of the glorious weekend.

Whether you’re already loading up your popcorn for Byron Baes or not, celebrate the small but mighty businesses down south at Love Thy Neighbour on Saturday 19 June. From boutique distilleries to restaurants harvesting from their own background, such as Harvest Newbry, Stone & Wood, and Brookie’s Gin, taste the honest, ethical, and renowned flavours of Byron Bay and experience the exquisite collaboration of delicious dishes with cool craft beer and cocktails.

Like a bear going into hibernation, load up for the colder temps with Grazed and Grown’s Winter Feast on Saturday 19 June. In a showcase of wholesome and earthy produce, keep your belly warm with three mouth-watering dishes and a rich selection of wines and buttery ales, featuring Alastair McLeod and Brookie’s Gin.

Rounding off the weekend is Crafted on Sunday 19 June – a big ol’ cheers to the boutique breweries and distilleries Aussies love. Celebrating the culture kings of craft beer and gin with The Wolfe’s former Head Chef Josh Lopez and Stone & Wood, snap a pic and sip on cocktails artistically styled to hero delicate botanicals. And, of course, there will be plenty of elegant dishes alongside with a native flair.

Grazed and Grown tickets are now available with General Admission up to $15.85 per person, and Signature Events $91.30 per person. Book your tickets here.
