Bopping with bites is a 10/10 way to while an afternoon away, with the lazy autumn sun spreading its finest rays and crisp, orange leaves floating through the air. Plus, everything is made even better when it’s free.
The Brisbane City Botanic Gardens is giving you just that plus good vibes aplenty with the return of Gigs & Picnics this November. Cram your basket (wicker preferred, for aesthetic purposes) with your favourite munching materials and mosey on down to The City’s lushest digs. From mellow jazz to modern reggae, gypsy beats, and even a bit of doof doof, let the live music swing you away for a perfect Saturday arvo.
Food trucks will also be on hand to keep hangry tummies happy, so you can BYO picnic blanket and The City will handle the rest. Kick-off is at 12pm but the tunes will be pumping ‘til 4pm, giving you plenty of time to get that finger wagging and foot tapping. There’s no booking necessary so gather your gang and get to the gig!
