Jade Buddha is our go-to for quality Friday night drinks, so it’s no surprise that this is where we want to be when midnight strikes! With unbeatable views of Brisbane River, the Story Bridge and all the fireworks, their location is hard to beat. For New Year’s Eve, they are offering two packages, depending on what kind of party you’re after. Their $95 package will score you select tap beers, house wine, Thai bucket cocktails, skewers and sliders in the Shadow Lounge from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, but if you’re after a more deluxe package, for $135.00 you can enjoy free-flowing spirits for the full VIP experience. With doors open from 5:00 pm and DJs mixing tunes all night, they’ve got a serious event planned.

Cloudland | Fortitude Valley

For those that like a little more glamour to their evening, Cloudland’s New Year’s Eve Ball is the ultimate affair. For $149 you can enjoy a cocktail party in the Madame Hedges and Crystal Palais areas while enjoying a 4.5-hour beverage package that includes premium spirits, tap beers and cider, wine, French sparkling wine and non-alcoholic bevs. For something a little more ‘extra’, their $199 Elyx Lounge ticket will get you into the exclusive Heritage Room, while also giving you access to an extra indulgent drinks package featuring Absolut Elyx cocktails.
