Ahh, Easter. A glorious long weekend dedicated to max ‘laxing, quality family time, and, most importantly, stuffing your face with as much chocolate as physically possible (duh!).

With the Easter Bunny’s annual visit just around the corner, it’s time to ditch that New Year diet and clear those calendars! We’ve hunted down nine of the most egg-citing events on offer to maximise your indulgence this Easter weekend. From luxurious high teas and boozy chocolate cocktails, to Candyland putt putt and Easter markets, there’s a holiday sugar hit on offer for every bunny to enjoy!

Easter at Emporium Hotel | South Bank

If you’re on the hunt for some serious decadence with a side of cocktails this Easter, then you’re in for a treat! Children’s Easter Farm | Newmarket Village

Calling all animal lovers! From Saturday 3 – Monday 5 April, swap your chocolate bunnies for the real deal and meet some new furry and feathered friends at Newmarket Village’s pop-up Easter farm! The kids will go wild for the chance to pat, play with, and snuggle up to 20 different adorable farm animals, including calves, alpacas, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and, of course, rabbits. With animal feed provided, little ones can get a taste of farm life and try their hand at feeding the animals whilst being guided by trained farmers from My Little Farm Friends. Yee-haw! Plus, to celebrate the release of Peter Rabbit 2 in cinemas this Easter, children will be able to hang out with the beloved Flopsy! This event is free for all ages with no bookings required.

Pacific Fair’s Annual Big Easter Scramble | Broadbeach

It’s no secret that Easter is all about spoiling the kids. So, what better way to treat your little bunnies (and tire them out) than with a giant Easter egg hunt! This Saturday 27 March, 300 lucky littlies will hop, skip, and jump their way around the centre in search of 3000 eggs at Pacific Fair’s Annual Easter Scramble. Get into true Easter spirit with prizes up for grabs, free craft workshops, balloon making, chocolate galore, and even a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Easter on the Esplanade | Surfers Paradise

This Easter Saturday, hop on down to the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets for a twilight shopping experience choc-a-block with themed decorations, epic live beats, local handmade treasures, and artisan goodies.
