The Ekka is back and better than ever! Ask any Queenslander and they’ll tell you that the real highlight of the show isn’t the cute baby animals, show stopping show bags, or exhilarating rides. It’s the strawberry sundaes, baby!

Of course, fairgoers aren’t the only ones wanting to get their strawberry sundae fix. The Brisbane dining scene is also taking cues and dishing up an array of strawberry sundae-inspired dishes to sweeten your day. From waffle stacks to jam-packed croissants (literally), here’s where you can get a berry good taste of the Ekka magic.
