Hey Sweet Thing! Currumbin Creek Scores A Tasty New Resident In Tarte Beach House
Sugar high
A trip to Burleigh Heads without the sweet bite of a Tarte Bakery treat is a trip wasted if you ask us.
Known for slinging a finger-licking display of tasty treats from fresh pastries for breakfast and brunch, the team behind the iconic establishment perched on the Gold Coast Highway, has announced its latest venture – Tart Beach House – which sees it on the banks of Currumbin Creek.
Much like its sister venue, patrons can expect all of the regular culinary culprits from owner Chloe’s estimable selection of eats and sips, and then some. A breath of fresh air, city slickers can settle into the multi-storied establishment and have the best of both worlds with the 120-seater bakery and cafe offering New York style bagels, juices, pastries and coffee, or if you’re after something a little more hearty, the 100-seater restaurant next door will serve you palate-pleasing plates from crab linguine with spanner crab, confit tomato, garlic and chilli with olive oil, to citrus-cured salmon with whipped crème fresh and a citrus dressing.
With a custom-made fit-out that could have been plucked straight from a magazine (think Italian marble tables and Hampton-style windows), the Hampton-esque haven is perfectly paired with heavenly sights of the creekfront at eye-gaze. What are you waiting for? Tarte Beach House is now open and awaiting your arrival. For more info, click here.
