A new classic

When you think of the perfect local, do the following come to mind: a convenient location for a post-work pick-me-up, a warm atmosphere to kick back with ease, endless entertainment to while away the time, and hearty pub classics with a hefty drink list to wash it down

If the answer is yes, then we have good news! The Newstead Social is your dream match and it’s finally ready to welcome you in.

The home-away-from-home pub offers a feel good menu and a deliciously extensive beverage list, served in a cozy environment with neon lights and timber hues. The menu features contemporary versions of your fave pub classics, including crispy chicken burgers, slow cooked pork ribs, crispy skin barramundi, and black angus sirloin. They also offer two signature boards – the Mediterranean lamb shoulder which features a 1.2kg 24-hour braised lamb shoulder or the Newstead Social Platter which has a highlights reel of the menu, with pork ribs, prawn and lobster roll, fried chicken, arancini, and more.

Thirsts will be quickly quenched with beer, wine by the glass or bottle, house spirits, classic cocktails, and signature cocktails like the Spicy Watermelon Margarita, Mango Colada, or the Caramel Popcorn Martini.

Plus, everyone knows the best part of a pub is the weekly specials, and Newstead Social has upped the ante with delicious deals and events on every day of the week. Mondays have $17 parmys, Tuesdays have $20 steak and fries, Wednesday is Drag Queen Trivia Night, Thursdays have $20 ribs and fries, and Sundays have $10 spritzes. Friday to Sunday has live and local music to groove to, and sports fans won’t need to miss any of the action with live sports aired all day, every day. And, every single day, Happy Hour will be in full swing from 4pm to 6pm!
