That’s why it makes perfect sense as the home of BY.ARTISANS’ flagship space – an innovative distillery and creative retreat inviting the community to express their art with a world-class gin in hand.
Built on innovation, sustainability, and creative collaboration, BY.ARTISANS is more than just a working distillery. The Jane Street space is home to tasting rooms, a bar, cafe, and event space, with an aim to cater to the needs of the culturally vibrant neighbourhood by bringing together brands, artists, and creators to showcase Queensland-made products.
BY.ARTISANS is set to open on 28 November, which coincides with the launch of its Signature Gin – a celebration of Australian flavours through native botanicals such as lemon myrtle, lavender, wattleseed, and eucalyptus. The spirit not only captures the essence of Australia’s landscape but also serves to protect it, with the first-of-its-kind distillery doubling as one of the nation’s most energy-efficient.
The multi-functional space takes a modern and minimalistic approach to design – executed in native greenery and natural design elements – allowing artists to use the venue as a blank canvas. You’ll also find a cafe and bar serving drinks and a concise food menu every Thursday to Sunday from 10am until late to get the creative juices flowing.
