A Hot New Dining Precinct Is Coming To This Historial Brisbane Building
Old meets new
Hold onto your hats folks because Brisbane’s hospitality scene is about to get a major upgrade. This July, one of the city’s leading hospitality groups, DAP & Co., is set to open a new dining precinct in an iconic, heritage-listed building on Eagle Street.
Homed in a historical, three-storey building that has undergone a meticulous restoration, Naldham House is poised to become Brisbane’s hottest new dining, drinking, and events destination.
DAP & Co., co-owned by Andrew Baturo, Denis Sheahan, and Paul Piticco, are known for their respectful restorations of Brisbane’s heritage-listed buildings. Their portfolio includes beloved venues like Popolo Italian, The Gresham Bar, and Walter’s Steakhouse and Wine Bar. Naldham House, a 140-year-old maritime building, is their latest triumph, blending historical charm with contemporary sophistication.
Renowned interior designer Anna Spiro has infused each level with vibrant colours, patterns, and textiles, creating spaces that are both eclectic and romantic. This bold design choice contrasts beautifully with the building’s stark white exterior, ensuring that each venue within Naldham House has its own unique identity.
What’s inside?
Naldham House will feature three distinct venues, each offering a unique experience. The first two to open their doors are Naldham House Brasserie & Terrace and Club Felix.
Naldham House Brasserie & Terrace
Located on the ground floor, this venue draws inspiration from the grand hotel lobbies of the world and the fine brasseries of Europe. With a capacity of 95 inside and 120 outside on the expansive terrace, this space will offer a sophisticated and unique dining experience featuring pan-European cuisine and exceptional service.
Club Felix
Situated on the first floor, Club Felix is a sexy, late-night cocktail bar and luxurious lounge that promises a playful and inviting atmosphere. Open until 2 am, it will serve world-class drinks and small plates, making it the perfect spot for those seeking a vibrant late-night experience. The venue can accommodate 150 standing and 110 seated guests, making it ideal for premium events and special occasions.
