A New Pop-Up Restaurant Is Coming To Your Fave Coffee Spot
Not your usual roast
Any coffeeholics would know that the beloved Bellissimo recently underwent a makeover, reinventing the old warehouse into a sleek and rustic fit-out. But a new aesthetic isn’t the only transformation Bellissimo is seeing: the coffee hub will now host an intimate candle-lit dining space serving up a lot more than delicious beans, this is Besitos.
Besitos is the pop-up restaurant from the masterminds behind Bellissimo and co-owners of Joey’s, bringing a community focused culinary experience to the Bulimba spot. As another exciting feature revitalising the ferry end of Oxford Street, the newly imagined industrial space will boast a mouthwatering menu prepared on a flaming charcoal grill.
The vision is three years in the making and will see its doors open from 5pm on Thursdays to Sundays. Besitos translates to ‘little kisses’ and likewise, each dish will be small but packed with punch. On the inaugural winter menu you can expect emu tartare, charred bone marrow with salsa verde, burnt miso toothfish tacos, handmade pasta, and hot pot mussels. It’s an indecisive diner’s dream – just order it all!
Besitos will open from July 21 with bookings now available here.
